Golf Fitness · TPI Screening · Dublin, Ohio

Golf fitness, built from your TPI screen.

Dr. Mathias is TPI Certified at Medical and Fitness Level 2. He screens how you move, finds the physical gaps limiting your swing, and builds a program that adds distance and keeps you playing longer.

Beyond technique

The body behind the swing.

There comes a point where more range time and more swing work can only take you so far. If your body doesn’t have the mobility, strength, or control the swing requires, your physical capacity may be what’s limiting your progress.

The swing demands thoracic rotation, hip mobility, hip separation, glute strength, core stability, and power transferred from the ground up. When any of those is missing, the swing compensates, and compensations limit distance, create consistency problems, and over time cause injury. Golf fitness addresses the physical side that swing instruction can’t.

Inside the program

What a golf fitness program includes.

Every program starts with the TPI screen and a conversation about your goals. From there, the plan may include:

  • Mobility work. Targeted work for the thoracic spine, hips, and shoulders, based on your screen results.
  • Strength and power. Golf-specific training for the glute, core, and rotational power behind clubhead speed.
  • Swing speed tracking. Objective numbers through the program, so you see progress, not just feel it.
  • If something hurts. Treatment is one room away.

Sessions run $75 to $150, depending on session length and whether you buy a package.

In-person and app-based sessions

Train one-on-one in the office, or follow your program through a training app on your schedule.

The long game

Distance isn’t everything. Longevity is.

The golfers who play their best golf in their 60s and 70s didn’t get there by accident. They maintained mobility, built strength, and managed their bodies as intentionally as their games. Golf fitness isn’t just about this season. It protects your ability to play for the next 20 years.

Two starting points

In pain right now? Start with Golf Injury.

Golf Injury is the starting point when pain is limiting your game: we resolve the issue first, then build the capacity that helps keeps it from coming back. Golf Fitness is for when you’re pain-free and want distance and durability. Many golfers move from one into the other.

Questions, answered

What people ask before their first visit.

Absolutely. Golf fitness improves how your body moves and how well it tolerates the physical demands of the game. That’s valuable whether you’re playing twice a week or twice a month. The benefits also carry over into daily life, since the mobility and strength work directly supports how you move off the course.

Most golfers notice improved mobility and reduced stiffness within the first few weeks. Measurable swing speed gains typically develop over 6 to 12 weeks of consistent training. The timeline varies based on your starting point and how consistently you train.

If pain is limiting you, the better starting point is usually Golf Injury care, which resolves the issue first and then builds into performance. If the pain is minor, Dr. Mathias can often address it inside the fitness program. He’ll tell you which path fits at your first visit.

Move better, feel better, perform better.

Whatever your goal, it starts here.
