It started with a back injury in 8th grade
The first time chiropractic care made sense to him was personal.
Dr. Mathias’s path into this work started early. As an 8th grader playing basketball, he hurt his back and saw a chiropractor for the first time. That experience stuck with him, not as a magic fix, but as a turning point that showed him how much movement and the right care could change how a body feels and performs.
That early curiosity grew into a career, and over time his thinking expanded well beyond traditional chiropractic. He came to believe that getting someone out of pain is only half the job. The other half is building a body strong and capable enough to stay that way.
Beyond the practice
He trains the way he asks his patients to.
Dr. Mathias was born in Elida, Ohio, and now lives in Dublin with his wife Liza and their two kids. He’s an avid golfer, which is part of why he takes the golf performance side of the practice so seriously. He applies the same longevity principles he uses with patients to his own training, because he believes in them.
